After the teaser of Gunday piqued our curiosity, it has been a quite a wait for the trailer of Yash Raj’s latest the trailer of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Gunday is finally out, we must say that it was worth the wait by all means. Those, who were disppointed by Priyanka Chopra’s no show in the teaser, will be more than happy to see the babe in a sexy avataar in the trailer. The actress plays a cabaret dancer, Nandita, in the film. The film, set in the 70s, tells the story of two friends Bikram (Ranveer) and Bala (Arjun), who survive a difficult childhood and begin their lives in the bylanes of then Calcutta as gun couriers. The two grow up to become notorious coal smugglers. What’s interesting about the trailer is that it bears an uncanny resemblance to Hollywood flick Savages. Both the films are about two friends, who not only end up in the big bad world of crime and smuggling, but also romance the same girl. While Savages had Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson being in a relationship with Blake Lively, our desi boys in Gunday are seen going crazy about Priyanka Chopra. The Ranveer and Arjun’s on-screen chemistry is going to be one hell of a watch. T he film also brings Irrfan Khan back on screen after a long time. The talented actor will be seen playing the role of a don who challenges Bikram and Bala’s supremacy.
