I am so fortunate that my music takes me around the globe and I am very excited to return to the beautiful South Africa,” comments Shreya Ghoshal.

Ghoshal’s mother was her first music teacher, when, at the age of four, they started practicing Bengali songs. Her first stage performance was at their club’s annual function. When she was six, she started lessons in Hindustani classical music and was trained by Rakesh Sharma of Kota, Shri Jayawardhan Bhatnagar and finally from Mahesh Chandra Sharma of Kota.
