The Durban ICC played host to the launch of the much-awaited DSTV Bollywood on Box Office. The event incorporated a soulful Bollywood Journey from 1940 to the modern & international era on Bollywood celluloid with spectacular performances choreographed by Anchal Popat of the Terrence Lewis Dance Institute and dancers of Durban’s renowned Nateshwar Dance Company. The event was hosted by Alan Khan and Jailoshini Naidoo with comedy showcases by the talented Aaron Mcilroy, Jailoshini Naidoo and everyone’s favourite Aunty Rumba.
The event was produced by Prabhu Nepal with stage & dining decor by Koogan Pillay Set design and catering by the culinary team of the Durban ICC. The latest Bollywood movies will be available at the touch of the GREEN button as BoxOffice delivers this scintillating entertainment in the comfort of your home. Bollywood A-Listers such as Rajnikanth, Sharukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra (among others) will captivate the whole family with nail-biting drama, heart-wrenching romance, vicious betrayal and gut-busting comedy.
When Bollywood on BoxOffice launches on 12 October 2016, the catalogue will boast the latest films in Hindi and Tamil. In future, classic Bollywood movies will be added to the catalogue, and offered at a reduced price. All DStv customers have further reason to celebrate, as all customers will now have access to BoxOffice. Previously this service was only available to DStv Premium, Extra and Compact customers. Now all DStv customers with an active HD PVR or DStv Explora will be able to rent the hottest movies – at just R35 each – whenever they want them.
