Shahid Kapoor won the Best Actor award for the first time for a brilliant performance in ‘Haider’ while Priyanka Chopra bagged Best Actor trophy for a punching performance in ‘Mary Kom’ at the 21st Screen Awards in Mumbai on Wednesday. Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Queen’ was declared Best Film of the year.

In the popular choice category, Deepika Padukone won the Best Actor award (female) while Shah Rukh Khan bagged the Best Actor (male) trophy. Both won for their acting in ‘Happy New Year’, one of the biggest blockbusters in 2014.

Tabu won the Best Actor in Supporting Role award (female) for her superb performance in critically acclaimed ‘Haider’ at the 21st Annual LifeOK Screen Awards in Mumbai on Wednesday (January 14). Tabu shared the honour with Seema Pahwa who delivered a brilliant role in Rajat Kapoor’s ‘Ankhon Dekhi’.

Earlier, Tiger Shroff won the Best Promising Newcomer (Male) award for blockbuster ‘Heropanti’ while Patralekhaa bagged the promising newcomer (female) award for her stupendous performance in ‘Citylights’.
