Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards 2013 – A Stylish Affair!

The Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards 2013 was a star-studded affair with the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Rekha, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Ileana D’Cruz, Ranveer Singh, Imran Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Gulzar were among those present at the awards gala. Here are some stunning pictures of Bollywood celebrities at Hello! The stars shone brightly at the Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards as luminaries from the fields of cinema, business, fashion and sports were honoured for their work. There were many memorable moments, both on and off stage. Shah Rukh Khan dancing to Lungi Dance was, of course, the pick of the night. The actor, who was honoured with the Superstar of the Year award, peppered his speech with repartees as always. “The reason why I’m not sounding pompous tonight is because I’m on the wrong side of the suburbs. As soon as I venture close to Wankhede, I become a gentleman,” he joked. The affection between Gulzar sahab and Rekha was another highlight. The celebrated writer presented the Timeless Icon award to Rekha, who he fondly refers to as “Kaalu Baba”. In turn, Gulzar sahab received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Cinematic Excellence. Leander Paes picked the Sportsman of the Year award. The younger stars, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, too had their moments. PC, who was bestowed the Global Face of the Year award, revealed that she and Ranveer had rehearsed their speeches mid-air a few days ago. Later, when Ranveer received the Entertainer of the Year award (male), he did his own version of Lionel Richie’s Hello, as he sang, “Hello. May I know what this is for? Acting is all I know, I don’t know what else to do. Let me start by saying, thank you.” Deepika received the Entertainer of the Year award (female). The city’s swish set were seen at the opulent new ballroom of the Palladium Hotel, Mumbai for the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards.The star-studded evening saw Bollywood personalities, businessmen, sportspersons and fashionistas being honoured for their achievements. Gayatri Ruia, (Promoter & Director, Palladium Hotel, Mumbai) said, “We are happy to showcase our spectacular and opulent ballroom floors with the prestigious Hello! Hall of Fame Awards.” At 40,000 sq ft, the hotel’s ballrooms are one of the city’s most luxurious and largest.
