They are planning their shooting schedules in a manner that gives them enough time to watch their favourite teams take on each other. While some football fanatics will make their way to Brazil to be a part of the football fiesta, others will watch the matches at their homes with their families and friends. Shah Rukh Khan: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is very excited about the 2014 FIFA World Cup that kick starts today in Brazil. Like thousands of soccer fans across the globe, King Khan reveals that he will be glued to the television set for the next couple of weeks. He has tweeted a picture of himself with a football with the text, “And on the most exciting note….I am completely over the moon with FIFA starting. TV glue ready!!!” Though the actor has not revealed which team he is rooting for, he surely is living the excitement.

Esha Gupta: The hot and sizzling Esha Gupta is a self-professed football fan. She loves to watch football matches and has already picked up her favourite team. She thinks host Brazil have a good chance of winning the prestigious Cup. Quoting the Humshakals actress, a report in Indiatimes says, ” I think Brazil will win the trophy. They’re such an amazing team. Spain and England have some great players too. I also hope that India will one day make the cut.”

Prachi Desai: The gorgeous actress is already in the news for her sizzling item number in ‘Ek Villain’. However, what we don’t know is that she is also a football fan. Speaking to NDTV, she says that she will be catching a few big football matches at clubs and cafes with friends. She says she will be supporting Argentina. However, she feels that Brazil is good too and will give tough competition. The report adds that she gas revealed her favourite FIFA World Cup memory is that of 2010 when Paul the Octopus was predicting the winner for each match. It was amazing to see it do it!

Bipasha Basu: Be it her love for sports or influence of her ex-boyfriend John Abraham, who is crazy about soccer, Bipasha Basu too makes sure that she never misses any World Cup matches. Speaking to NDTV about her love for soccer, she says, “I never miss World Cup matches. This year too, I am planning to watch as many as possible at my home as well as at a friend’s place.” She has revealed that she is supporting both Spain and Argentina. She feels the whole thing about friends getting together, watching matches and cheering for their favourite teams make World Cup a memorable experience.

Sidharth Malhotra: Bollywood’s current heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra played football in his debut film Student Of The Year. However, he now wants to watch the game live. The actor is keen to watch the big football tournament FIFA live in Brazil. He is a big football fan and has been following the game for a while now. Whenever the game is on, he makes it a point to make time and watch the matches. A source close to the actor says that he is a huge fan of football and has requested the team of Ek Villain to give him few days off so he can attend the game.”
