Music Director: Sajid-Wajid

Singers: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika and Sonu Nigam.

Rating: 3.5/5

Director Kunal Kohli’s upcoming release Teri Meri Kahaani with Priyanka and Shahid in the lead looks fresh and youthful and the music directors Sajid-Wajid have ensured that the music does justice to the look and feel of the film. This album has a finesse and youthful feel to it where the songs come to life with Prasoon Joshi’s lyrics.

The album opens with Mukhtasar which is a soft, romantic number but is also peppy at the same time. Sung by Wajid in the lyrics of Prasoon Joshi, Mukhtasar is a chart buster and the remix for a change does justice to the original! This song is a winner all the way! This Track gets a 4/5

Allah Jaane follows next on the album and is a typical Rahat Fateh Ali number. It’s soft and slow in places and has a Sufi feel to it. 3/5

Jabse Mere Dil Ko Uff that’s up next has an out and out retro feel to it. Sung by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan and its has some catchy beats. 3/5

Humse Pyaar Kar Le Tu follows next and is the second best song on the album afterMukhtasar. Sung by Mika, Wajid and Shreya Ghosal, Humse Pyaar Kar Le Tu is a dance number that fast grows on and Mika adds his own charm to the song. Humse Pyaar Kar Le Tu sounds like a song from another era but is far from boring! This one’s a charmer too. 5/5

With Shaan and Shreya Ghosal on the vocals for That’s All I Really Wanno Do, this song is a mushy romantic song that will work well with the college going generation! It’s pleasing to the ears and manages to retain its freshness throughout. Shreya and Shaan’s voices compliment each another. 5/5

Teri Meri Kahaani’s music is youthful and has the right melodies though it falls short in some songs but on the whole, Sajid- Wajid have managed to deliver another hit album!
